Congratulations to this week’s Showcase Cinemas High School Team of the Week: Cranston West Swim Teams!

The Cranston High School West coed swim team went through their school to collect donations to buy socks for the homeless.Then they
donated the socks, food, water, hats, hand warmers and coffee bought with the donations to people in need in Providence.
The team spent Saturday Febuary 6th in Kennedy Plaza handing out everything they had to people in need. This team is led by head coach Jamie Feretti and assistant coach Xavier Ferland who, with the help of her swimmers, came up with “Swim socks”, socks for the homeless. Spending an average of $250 by matching the donations made.
This team is dedicated and so many people were very grateful.
