Congratulations to this week’s Showcase Cinemas High School Team of the Week: Classical High School Girls Field Hockey!
This week’s spotlight entry was sent in by student athlete Kaylla Sisavat:
One of our fellow Classical students has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of childhood cancer and the girls field hockey team took the
initiative to raise money for him by organizing the “Go Green for Greene” program.
These were “play for the cure games” that we had all teams participate in and raised money at each home game and selling shirts.
The funds would be donated to his family to help them pay for his treatement.
Also, the girls field hockey team has proven leadership and dedication as we’re on our way to playoffs and had an amazing season!
