Troye Sivan Concert in Boston! [PHOTOS]

Troye Sivan has been traveling on the Suburbia Tour, his first ever headlining arena tour, and it’s first US stop was right up in Boston on Saturday 11.12!

The last time Troye was in Boston was in February on his Blue Neighborhood tour, where he told us he received an overwhelming level of support and love from New England. He told the story of how his backstage pre-show tradition with his band was birthed at that very show. “I don’t curse on stage often, I don’t normally like to. But last time we were in Boston I just could not believe the energy and love so without control I screamed into the mic ‘F IT UP BOSTON’. Since then at every show backstage, me and my mates crowd together and yell ‘F IT UP __’ and then whatever city we’re in.”

Boston did not disappoint this time around either. The crowd sang loudly along with every song in the set list from Troyes recent release, and his earlier music. Troye dedicated his song “Heavan” to all his fellow LGBT community, reminding them to stick together, and love each other through the hard times, “This is a safe place for you all tonight”. As the song started, the arena had pre-placed pieces of colored paper under each seat for the audience to hold up in front of their phone flashlights to create an arena sized, alive pride flag. “I coulda lay down and died right there and then” Troye says on Instagram, not knowing that was going to happen!

There was no lack of energy or talent from the start to the end of the show. Dua Lipa opened the show, known for her hit “Blow Your Mind (Mwah)” with a full album to come in 2017.

Troye even took part in the online sensation of the mannequin challenge that, using his band, and the entire arena as a part of it! Check it out below!
