Providence has been ranked one of the best mid-sized cities for nightlife in America by Gogobot.com, a website whose “mission is to find people places to eat, stay, and play that are perfect for them.”
The capital city ranked #10 overall, and the website says that “the nightlife scene in Providence has been experiencing a revival in recent years, sprouting new venues that extend far beyond the typical student hangouts,” and recommends Federal Hill restaurants and shows at PPAC.
Fort Lauderdale, Florida was ranked as the best mid-sized city for nightlife. The top cities were determined with the following criteria: U.S. cities with ranks #100-400 by population according to census data were sorted by the preferences of Gogobot’s “Nightlife Lovers Tribe.”
