This place is as unpretentious as they come. The Bloody Marys and Mai Tais are strong and delicious, and the fried seafood is the best around. Order the Seafood Triple and ask for the fish beer-battered.
Celestial Café

This farm-to-table spot serves up some delicious local fare in South County. Order the Clam Chowda or the Royal Street Jambalaya. Once a month they host a five-course farm dinner that is very reasonably priced.
The Cafe at Easy Entertaining

Providence, RI 02909

Easy Entertaining was solely a catering company, until the cafe opened in 2012. They serve locally sourced breakfast and lunch 5 days a week, and host various dinners and events throughout the year. The grilled pizzas are delicious, and the staff really makes you feel at home.
Phillips Street Restaurant
51 N Philips Street
East Providence, RI 02914
Yelp
Located in the basement of the Holy Ghost Beneficial Brotherhood of RI, Phillips Street serves up some of the best authentic Portuguese cuisine around. Start with the Calamari, and then order the Shrimp Mozambique or the Bitoque.

606 Reservoir Ave
Cranston, RI 02910

You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu at The Big Cheese. The pizzas are delicious, the calzones are huge, and the atmosphere really takes you back. The Chicken Noodle Soup is made from scratch and can cure whatever’s ailing you.
