The Mount Saint Charles Girls Hockey team has exemplified what it means to be a “team of the week” on and off the ice this season.

Coach Anthony DiLorenzo tells us how:

“This year the young ladies have really ramped up the service projects they do. They had a coat drive which brought in over 150 coats, which they donated to the Veterans Memorial School in Pawtucket. Also I told the team that I wanted them to do a food drive for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

To the coaches surprise the team had collected enough cans to do 30 food baskets for Thanksgiving and another 30 baskets for Christmas. All donated to Veterans Memorial School. The team is planning to do a Skate With The Mounties Day for children with special needs. Following the skate, the children will attend a home game at Mount St Charles as our special guests for the evening.”
