Emma Watson is due to participate in Brown University‘s graduation ceremony in Providence, RI on May 25, a spokesperson from Brown told the Associated Press.
According to Brown.edu, the commencement ceremony will be held on the College Green beginning at 9:45 am and is open to the general public. The ceremony will also include special events for Brown’s 250th Anniversary celebration.
Watson told the Sunday Times earlier this year, “On the first day, I walked into the canteen and everyone went completely silent and turned to look at me. I had to say to myself, ‘It’s okay, you can do this. You just have to take a deep breath and gather your courage.'”
The Ivy-Leaguer is receiving a degree in English literature later this month. She began her on-again off-again studies at Brown in 2009, while still managing to work on multiple Harry Potter films, My Week with Marilyn, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, The Bling Ring, and This Is the End.
Catch Emma in her most recent project – the epic film Noah starring Russell Crowe, in theaters now.
